The Shoreditch Collection by Squint
The Shoreditch collection is part of our new contemporary range, our first two styles are The 46 and The Redchurch, they are sectional and as such can be ordered to any size and in L shapes of desired.
Squint has launched it’s Heritage Collection exclusively in Harrods, this new range is looking back to the very finest of historical English design, illustrating the elegance and grace of furniture of the 18th century. Furniture frames are constructed by hand with hard wood, dowelled joints and hand carved mahogany legs.
The fabrics used are woven English damasks and shot silver and gold satins with Swarovski rose crystal and pearl detailing. Trimmings are 18th and 19th century from France with woven silver and gold thread. The accessories range includes mirrors and lighting wrapped with Japanese ceremonial Kimono silks which have been embroidered and appliquéd and finished with turn of the century lavender glass beads.
Each piece is unique and a testament to the nature of couture craftsmanship.
Our Bespoke range comprises of items such as Chesterfield sofas and iconic Egg chairs and includes all types of upholstered furniture as well as mirrors and lighting, each piece bespoke incorporating a mix of contemporary and vintage fabrics.
As Squint has grown it now makes to order, classic designs meticulously made in England and upholstered traditionally, with tied springs and hand stitched seams. Each design is priced individually depending on the final mix of fabrics used and a selection of sofa shapes can be made as bed settees.
Lead times are running at between ten and twelve weeks and any items ready to go will be shown in the Off The Peg section in either of our ranges.
